The Delphin ERAX is an all-metal fly reel featuring a wide spool with raised edges on both sides for improved backing line management. The matte black finish prevents glare, so you won't spook fish with unwanted reflections by the water.
A major advantage of the ERAX fly reel is its sensitive drag system, which is enclosed within the reel housing for increased resistance to sand and other unwanted debris—especially if the reel is submerged during fishing. The drag is equipped with a click system that prevents unwanted line overrun during sudden, fast runs, helping to avoid tangles that could result in losing a fish during the fight.
The numerous cut-outs in the reel body serve two important functions. First, they significantly reduce the reel's weight, making fishing more comfortable. Second, they help accelerate the drying of the fly line and backing material, greatly reducing the risk of premature wear or damage to your fly fishing gear.
